“PEAKS AND VALLEYS”  explores the concepts of utilizing carved-out trenches and pulled-up peaks to create patterns that continuously flow and others that stop. Mediums like sand and water are able to have areas to pool and amalgamate while other areas encourage the medium to fall off into other pockets or glide over entirely. Using hexagons as a base shape, tiles have been created into an assembly that amplified these effects over a larger surface area.
