-After designing an individual leisure room in plan view, we received designs for another 8 rooms to create a hostel. After conducting "drop tests" to form scatterplots with randomized arrangements of the rooms, I created an individual hostel by resolving, rearranging, and reorienting the tensions and peculiar circulations.

-This project explored the relationship between public and private spaces, and themes of permanence and temporariness. Public spaces are indicative of temporary use among different gatherings of people, while private spaces are permanent and usually are specific to a certain social group for a certain activity or time of day. Materials like brick, wood, concrete, and rammed earth reflect the rural setting of the hostel.
